As an event commemorating Industry Month, celebrated in May, the Federation of Industries of the State of Santa Catarina – FIESC, in partnership with the National Service for Industrial Learning (SENAI), the Social Service of Industry (SESI), and the Euvaldo Lodi Institute (IEL), organizes a schedule of regional meetings with relevant leaders and representatives of the industry sector in the state. This year, the itinerary in the North Plateau region includes lectures, visits to the SENAI and SESI headquarters in São Bento do Sul and Mafra, visits to municipal governments, and technical visits to local industries that have partnerships with these entities.
Tuper, as a company with strong ties to the partner federation of SESI and SENAI for education, health, and safety services, received the President of FIESC, Mario Cezar de Aguiar, along with a delegation, for a technical visit to the company’s facilities on May 11.
The visiting team included the president, Fabrizio Machado Pereira, regional director of SENAI for education, health, and technology, José Eduardo Azevedo Fiates, director of innovation and competitiveness (IEL SC), Carlos José Kurtz, institutional and legal director, Alfredo Piotrovski, director of corporate development and business, Arnaldo Huebl, vice president of FIESC Planalto Norte, Daren de Vargas Basso de Souza, executive manager of Vale do Itapocu and Planalto Norte, Diego Galvan de Oliveira, operations manager of SESI SENAI Vale do Itapocu and Planalto Norte, and Ivan Liebl, communication advisor for the entity in Planalto Norte. The delegation was received and led by Frank Bollmann, president of Tuper.
About Industry Week
Industry Week is an annual event organized by FIESC in partnership with SENAI, SESI, and the Euvaldo Lodi Institute, IEL. Industry Day is celebrated on May 25 in memory of Roberto Simonsen, whose work contributed to the consolidation of the Brazilian industry. In 2023, between May 22 and 26, there will be lectures, workshops, technical visits, and service offerings at SESI and SENAI units.
The program in São Bento do Sul, in addition to technical visits, included a meeting with the FIESC president, followed by a lecture and dinner to launch the “Venha Trabalhar na Indústria” (Come Work in the Industry) campaign.
