The history and values of renowned brands as icons of the identity and business culture of Santa Catarina are the focus of the second volume of the book “Santa Catarina – Grandes Marcas”.
The launch of the project by the AMANHÃ Institute took place on Thursday, April 11th, at the headquarters of the Federation of Industries of the State of Santa Catarina (FIESC) in Florianópolis (SC – Brazil). On the occasion, there was a book signing session among the leaders of the featured companies.
Content aimed at highlighting success stories
Through interviews with founders, presidents, heirs, managers, and employees, the book brings forth cases of 50 companies and institutions from all regions of the state. They represent different sectors, sizes, and segments – not only immigrant-origin companies but also cooperatives and multinational corporations that have chosen to establish businesses in Santa Catarina.
The publication provides an overview of the entrepreneurial profile that has built so many strong companies and institutions in the state.
Jorge Polydoro, President of the AMANHÃ Institute, highlights that the book is a valuable project to share. Moreover, it continues the proposal of Volume I, launched eight years ago. Each of the brands has its trajectory highlighted in the publication. The text and illustrative images show how they started, evolved, and the impacts they generated in the regions where they operate.
