Connection

Tuper Tubular Stakes use the innovative quick connection concept for seams eliminating the need to weld and speeding up the setting process.

They are manufactured in carbon steel with a flow limit above 310 MPa, and meet the requirements of standard ASTM A252:2019 – Grade 3. Presents characteristics that render the product more economic and efficient, reducing the time of the setting process and increasing productivity in the work. With that, the Tuper pile seam uses a ready, easy to handle part that is manufactured with precision for internal coupling. The positioning and alignment of the seam is made in the construction site with tubular piles, and the coupling occurs by pressing with the energy of the pile-driver hammer blow

The loads are transferred by the direct contact of the tube faces and by the high friction, cold welding style, generated in the seam pressing. The compression is fully transmitted. Bending and tensile efforts have had their ruptures determined by testing.

Tuper offers mixed steel and concrete piles, providing a solution with intermediate cost when compared to only concrete piles or steel piles, therefore maintaining the advantages of metal piles with the possibility of time optimization if used with the quick connection feature.

APPLICATIONS - TUBULAR PILES
As a foundation element for industrial constructions, in multi-floor buildings, bridges and viaducts, ports and transmission towers, among others
Possibility of implementing a geothermal system - the use of heat exchange foundations to make use of the superficial geothermal energy available in the soil is an environmentally friendly technology that enables reducing energy consumption for area acclimatization; it may also be used for heating water for several purposes (the execution depends on the installation of heat exchange tubes inside the piles, which represents easy and low cost installations)
The piles may be applied hollow or with mixed steel and concrete
